Title | Letter from [Frederick Frost] Blackman, St John's College, Cambridge, to Sir John Rose Bradford, [Royal Society] |
Creator | Blackman; Frederick Frost (1866 - 1947) |
Date | 9 July 1914 |
Description | Informs he has sent in his report on Professor [Jagadis Chunder] Bose's paper, stating that when it was sent to him he was asked to report to the Botany Sectional Committee and was not informed what action would be taken on the animal physiology side. He therefore considered that he ought to report on the experiemnts on animals as well as those on plants. States there is no one in the country with whom he can speak on both parts of the work. Informs he sent a letter to Harrison explaining this and senses disapproval from Bradford but he considers any decision to publish the paper involves a difficult problem. |
