Description'Sir, I shall be much obliged if you can find room in your valuable journal for the ocntrobution enclosed herewith. 2. The paper is an answer to that by Mr. G. Hewett, which was published in the Proceedings of the Royal Society, B. Vol 95, 1923. A separate of this paper has only just come into my hands, through the courtesy of the Director of Raffles Museum, Singapore, or I should have sent an earlier reply. I have the honour to be, Sir, Your obedient servant, J H [?] Evan'.

Enclosed is a reply from [William Bate Hardy], Secretary of the Royal Society to J H Evans, dated 28 May 1925.
