Description | Dr Alexander King, the present Director of the United Kingdom Scientific Mission in the British Commonwealth Scientific Office in Washington, is vacating his post. The vacancy is being filled by P N Woodward, who was on the scientific staff of the Ministries of Supply and Production during the war, and was more recently Director of the Scottish Seaweed Research Association. Verry asks on behalf of Sir Edward Appleton that Egerton provides assistance to Woodward as occasion arises |
