Description | Regarding the centenary celebrations for the Chemical Society in July 1947. The President of the Royal Society feels that a formal address should be presented and Martin suggests that Egerton may wish to write this address for the offocial opening ceremony. Martin can send any material that Egerton may need. He notes that the arrangements for the celebrations are going well, and that the Chemical Society is likely to recieve about 30 addresses, with more than half of these coming from other Societies in the country. |
