RecipientMartin; Sir; David Christie (1914-1976); British scientific administrator
Date7 May 1947
DescriptionEgerton cannot get back for the May Council as he has been put back [in hospital] for a time and is not yet allowed up. He shall hope to get back early in June. He would like to write a formal address for the Centenary of the Chemical Society but thinks it could be rather difficult to do so there, without possibilty of any references. He provides a list of what he may need, but will let the President and Martin decide if they would still like Egerton to do this.
