DescriptionEgerton feels that something must be written before the next Council meeting in support of Sir [Robert Alexander] Watson-Watt for the Hughes [Medal]. He has written to Mr Barton of the Ministry of Supply who can put together some facts for Egerton. He asks that Martin send the letter on to him. He then reports that his group is having a 'very interesting though fairly strenuous time' in Bangalore, where he is staying for a few days with his wife [Ruth Julia Cripps], [Sir Ben] Lockspeiser, and his wife Lady Lockspeiser [Elsie Shuttleworth].
