DescriptionBurdon Sanderson was awarded a grant of £25 about three months ago to defray the costs of research on the respiratory exchange of invertebrates. He asks if the amount could be sent to him directly, if it has not been sent to Sanderson, since he has already spent nearly the whole of it on apparatus. He can send an account if necessary.

John Scott Burdon Sanderson was awarded a grant of £25 from the Royal Society's Donation Fund in March 1894, 'to assist Mr. H.M. Vernon in his physiological researches'.
