DescriptionForwarding an abstract [not present] of the work done by E.H. Strange, E. Graham and himself on the nature of the explosive flame in cyanogen, with a statement of expenses. Strange is continuing the work with other gases and they propose to spend the balance of the grant on films and chemicals. An account of the investigation is ready for presentation to the Chemical Society.

H.B. Dixon was awarded a grant of £25 from the Royal Society's Donation Fund in June 1895, 'to assist Messrs. Strange and Graham in their inquiry into the combustion of cyanogen and oxygen'.
