| Description | Starling has heard that [Ivan Petrovich] Pavlov would be sent over by the Russian Government if he was invited to the Physiological Congress. Several people have thought it would be a good occasion to have Pavlov deliver the Croonian Lecture, since on previous attempts, he was unable to. If invited to the Croonian, Pavlov would have out of pocket expenses, and if the lecture was delivered in June, he could attend the Congress afterwards. The matter has not come before the Sectional Committee and Starling asks if the Croonian Lecturer has already been appointed. |
