Title | Letter from Ian Dunn; Lake Katwe, Uganda; to Peter Greenwood; Cromwell Road, London |
Creator | Dunn; Ian George (1934 - ); biologist |
Date | 14 May 1967 |
Description | Says that they have recieved Greenwood's second letter dated 4 May and 'did rather assume the confidential nature of the first one'. Says he is unsurprised by Greenwood's comments about the fisheries but very annoyed and hopes that Greenwood's point went across to the '"Powers"'. Explains that he spent the previous day with the local fisheries officer and it is unsure if there will be a movement of Fisheries Officers to Entebbe in order to stock up the Fisheries School with staff. Says that this information is confidential but he assumed Greenwood already knows.
He has asked Professor Beadle permission to send Greenwood a duplicate on his personal report to him. In other news, they have a new boat and he is realising the amount of work involved in gut sampling. He is trying to cut the number of individual samples taken. |
