Title | Letter from Peter Greenwood; Cromwell Road, London; to Ian Dunn; Lake Katwe, Uganda |
Creator | Greenwood, Peter Humphrey (1927-1995); Ichthyologist |
Date | 12 December 1967 |
Description | Asks after Dunn's emotional well-being; says that Dunn's last letter had the tone of depression.
Regarding the fish guts, he agrees that Dunn's research on Haplochromis will probably need a laboratory in order toadvance but believes that the work being done currently is sufficient. Says that he agrees with the committee about working on fresh material. Says that it is possible so long as Dunn has cooling equipment. Says that he doesn't think it all needs to be worked on fresh material but it is easier to interpret preserved guts when you're very familiar with fresh.
Thinks that getting a comparitive Lake Edward selection is a good idea. |
