DescriptionPencil portraits of Ramon Tusari top], Chief of the Maquisitaris at approximately 50 years old and [bottom] a 14 year old Maquisitari girl. The portraits were made on the Rio Cunucunuma, in the Orinioco delta, [Venezuela]. Spruce mentions his 8 day journey up the Cunucunuma, which ended in his being wrecked in the river's rapids.
