Description | Brewster has been able to give a brief account of Sabine’s research in the history of magnetism, but is ‘anxious’ to give full details in the chapter on terrestrial magnetism due to their importance. Requests Sabine’s paper on the decennial period of the solar diurnal variations, and informs Sabine of the French postage system. Comments on the weather. Brewster has come to France ‘on account of the health of his daughter’. |
