FitzRoy offers his services as a nautical subordinate if Sabine organises a scientific arrangement ‘on a large scale’. Refers to the Cape of Good Hope forms. Expresses his gratification by Dove’s ‘intended dedication’. Congratulates Sabine on completing his Toronto volume. Reference to ‘King’s sea water observations’. |
