| Title | Copy letter, James Hudson, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society, to Thomas Botfield |
| Creator | Hudson; James (1804-1859); British librarian and assistant secretary to the Royal Society |
| Date | 4 May 1833 |
| Description | Hudson has received a note of £10, Botfield's admission fee to the Royal Society and he provides a receipt. Hudson explains the following two years' payments, based upon Botfield's date of election. Because there is only one Council meeting held before Botfield's formal admission is due, Hudson has entered an extension period to go before Council.
