| Title | Copy letter from [John William] Lubbock, Treasurer of the Royal Society; to Lieutenant Colonel [Edward] Sabine, 12 Park Place |
| Date | 14 March 1842 |
| Description | Lubbock states having no recollection of receiving the three letters alluded to, namely Sabine to Herschel, Herschel to Wheatslowe, and Airy to Lubbock. Lubbock sent the letters Sabine now sends to Christie. List three considerations for the Committee; 1- The seal for the curvo paper. 2- Whether the storm observations should be published under its own class or as part for the regular series. 3- Whether methods for measuring temperature changes exist. Lubbock states intention to attend a meeting on Friday or Monday or suggests Sabine meet with Christie. |
