DescriptionThe application made on behalf of Lord Panmure [Fox Maule-Ramsay], that the Large Room of Burlington House be made accessible for the General Commander in Chief for 2 days in September and October to hold examinations for the direct Commissions of the Army. States this will be granted and any days convenient can be chosen, as the Royal Society will not be inconvenienced. Informs the Ante-room can also be used, on condition that the Librarian can access, at all times, the section of the Library stored there. As for the request to have access to the rooms in November and December, states the matter will be put to at the next Council meeting.
