The enclosed letter from Wharton was addressed to hmn at the RS and not his home address. He imagines Wharton wishes the officers to see it, and at some convenient time to show it to Foster.
Hopes this fog will go before Thursday, as he has a bad cold. Because of this he could not go to town and suggested to Fletcher to have Kempe instead, but really because Kempe was present when the memorial came up. The whole matter was before his time. Hope the meeting will not take up too much of his time. |
