Title | Letter from E J [Eliza Jennet] Bottomley, 13 University Gardens, Glasgow, to [Joseph] Larmor |
Creator | Bottomley; Eliza Jennet; née Blandy (1836-1913); British, born in Madeira, Portugal |
Date | 25 February 1909 |
Description | Dr. Bottomley has gone to his laboratory and has left her to write to Larmor, to say that they have put before Lady Kelvin the results of their joint talk at the Athenaeum. Lady Kelvin is pleased at the idea of sending the letters and papers for the use of Larmor and Sylvanus Thompson. They have written to Thompson to suggest this and they think it can be done. If possible, Lady Kelvin would like to keep the publishing of the volume of papers in her own hands, as was done by Lord Kelvin with the others. This might simplify matters and she would like a rough idea of the possible cost. Dr Bottomley will write on Sunday. |
