Description | Arrhenius has decided to come to the Darwin celebration on 22-24 June [in Cambridge] replacing one of the representatives of the Academy of Sciences in Stockholm. He asks if Larmor would help in hiring out an academic gown, asking if the shop would reserve one of their biggest gowns and a 'great hat' for his use. He is staying in Manchester to work on radioactivity with Rutherford and he will go to Plymouth next week to help Loeb with his work on artificial parthenogenesis in sea urchins. |
