DescriptionDuring the Long Vacation, Whittaker wrote the enclosed paper [not present] in which he gives solutions for equations, including [Pierre-Simon] Laplace's, and 'a new view of gravitation'. He asks Larmor to look at the gravity part of the paper and to give his opinion. This has been revised as a result of some criticisms by [Augustus Edward Hough] Love.
