TitleLetter from J [Joseph] Larmor, the Royal Society, Burlington House, London, to [Richard Tetley] Glazebrook
CreatorLarmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist
RecipientGlazebrook; Sir Richard Tetley (1854-1935); British physicist
Date1 October 1908
DescriptionThe upshot of S's remarks are enclosed; he cannot follow the process and finds no guarantee of validity. The detail should be compressed and the paper improved. Before it went to [Ralph Allen] Sampson, Larmor marked the superfluous parts, which the author should see. He does not know how much the same ideas have been worked upon. The author should consider what he should do. The Engineering journal would have it as its stands, but this would be a pity. Both referees feel that there is something in it but they cannot gather how much.
