DescriptionHuggins caught a chill over Christmas and and has only that day been able to write. She is sorry to not be able to meet him that week but hopes to host him in January. She has sent no cards this year, but has something for Larmor, which she will give to him during his visit. She is very upset about the 'terribly sad state' of their friend Dr [George Johnstone] Stoney, and takes comfort that [Sir William Huggins] was spared a long illness.
