| Description | All furniture has now arrived from Belfast and he likes it. The dining room suite is particularly good, cheap and better than anything he could get locally. The bureau will be useful. He now has eighteen boarders with two more to come. All is going well and he has managed to get a good cook and two servants. He notes his choice of tiles for the study. He should have enough money after furniture bill to make a handsome start. John gives thanks for calling with Carson & McDowell. It would be wise not to take the wardrobe from Jolly. |
