Description | His son, A A [Adolphus Alfred] Jack was proposed for the Athenaeum twenty years ago by Lord Kelvin and is coming up for ballot. He is now proposed by Professor Albert V Dicey of Oxford and seconded by Sir Henry Craik. He gives a brief description of his son's achievements and asks if Larmor will support his candidature. Jack need not congratulate Larmor on his election at Cambridge, but worries that it will take up his time and energy. |
