Title | Letter from H F [Hugh Frank] Newall, Madingley Rise, Cambridge, to [Joseph] Larmor |
Creator | Newall; Hugh Frank (1857-1944) British astrophysicist and educational benefactor |
Recipient | Larmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist |
Date | 26 September 1919 |
Description | Larmior's manuscript is in the hands of Miss Pate. Newall envies Larmor's power to write such a notice in a day. Newall carried five volumes of Rayleigh's works with him on his travels, but after reading Larmor's notice he scrapped his inadequate notes. He notes the weather and hopes Larmor escaped it in Ireland. |
