Description | Their executive committee was well attended and Larmor's letter was laid before it. They resolved to write to Larmor and [John Frederick Peel] Rawlinson askign them to meet the committee to advise on policy. They made a tentaive list of names suitable for Commission service. Over fourteen hundred replies to the circular were received yesterday and arrangements are made to circularise Cambridge men in the House of Commons. With their Vice-Chancellor so strongly in favour of full admission of women, their position 'is all the more critical'. |
