| Description | It is no good of Larmor to try avoid reading his reply by going to Southampton, as he must be heartily thanked. Roscoe wishes that 'the Privy Councellor for Science' was more fit for his office than Roscoe. He would like the President and the two Secretaries of the Royal Society to dine with him in December and he asks for Larmor's help. He tried to get [Archibald] Geikie to dine, but it never happened. |
