TitleLetter from Heinrich Rubens, Berlin N.W.7, Neue Wilhelmstrasse 16, to Sir Joseph [Larmor]
CreatorRubens; Heinrich (1865-1922); German physicist
RecipientLarmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist
Date8 November 1910
DescriptionThey were interested to have Larmor's description of their Berlin festivities and his children were flattered by the remark at the end. He has just learned by Larmor's letter of the high honour to be bestowed upon him by the Royal Society, the Rumford Medal. He feels sure that Larmor played a part in this. He does not know whether he will be able to attend the 30 November Anniversary Dinner. His Academy lecture is on 1 December, and he will see if it can be postponed.
