Description	[Translation of MS/787/1/12.] Stache had been busy traveling and had hoped to meet Brady at the meeting of German naturalists. Hopes his health - which had prevented Brady from coming to Vienna in the autumn - was restored. Lists his future travels: to Dalmatia, Tunis and the Alps. Had made an unpleasant discovery on his return to Vienna, concerning their Fusulina, which may stop or alter their plans. His friend Baron Richthofen had offered them his splendid collection of Japanese and Chinese Fusulina, but asked Stache to return it for his work, guaranteeing that he would send the collection back to Vienna. But without Stache being asked anything the material was sent instead to Dr Waagen of Munich, who had also been working with Fusulina. Sent Brady Richthofen's 'very hasty and unfriendly' letters so that he could read them for himself. Written on paper of the Washington Chemical Company, Washington, County Durham. Second page: drafts of letters, probably other translations. First: wishes him the best for his journey and offers to send his Fusulina to Brady. Second: mentions identifying and naming three or four species for Brady's monograph. Mentions Conrad Schwager. Third: from H B, says Richthofen's letters are almost unreadable, and had it not been for Stache he would have been ploughed over them. The letters are gossipy but he will send the first of them.
