Description | Thanks Boys for his letter of 21 September and the quartz fibres. He will apply them to an astronomical instrument. He has good mechanics to hand and does not doubt that he will be able to get the fibres tight. He will let Boys know how they perform compared with spider lines, when applied to large instruments. |
