Father of Sir William Young FRS (1749-1815)
Brother of Dr George Young, possibly a medical doctor by training, who was on the island of St Vincent in the mid 1760's. Three of Dr Young's children were christened on St Vincent in 1768, 1771,and 1772. Dr Young was the First Director of the Botanical Garden in St Vincent, West Indies in 1763.
