OtherInfo | While very little is known about Perry's private life and not much detail on his clerical and scholarly appointments remain, it is recorded that Perry kept the Royal Society library in good condition and helped it expand. He accepted the role as library-keeper after Robert Hooke (FRS 1660) refused and his successor was Henry Hunt. |
