| Description | With reference to previous correspondence with regard to the supply of electricity to the Society of Antiquaries, Rix subjoins a copy of a resolution passed at the last meeting of the Council of the Royal Society [not attached]. The resolution is quoted and indicates that the Society of Antiquaries be supplied with electricity for lighting should they so desire, if they will put in an installation of equal power with that of the Royal Society, on paying one half of the cost of gas, labour and repairs to the engine and dynamo. |
