| Description | Rix, in response to Bromby's of 29 November 1895, states that as the Index volumes of the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' are not scarce, they should keep the duplicate parts rather than going to the expense of returning them. He wonders if they could offer them to a scientific library as they suggested.
Of those that they name, the only number of 'Philosophical Transactions' of particular value is for 1864 Part I, of which their stock is low. If no better use is found for it, the Royal Society would be glad to have it returned and would pay the cost of postage. |
