Description | Rix responds to their letter of the previous day to say that the review copies should be sent to the first nine papers mentioned in his letter, and so he asks if the '6' in their printed list can be changed to '9'. They need not send a copy to the Westminster Review without further instruction from the Royal Society.
Clay & Sons labels will serve for the review copies and for the public libraries, with Rix noting it seems correct that these come from the publishers. Rix cannot trace the order to send a copy to the National Library, Paris, and asks if they are sure that this was done by the Society's instructions. He also asks that they send one additional copy for the Index Rerum Department of the Society, and alter "3, Royal Society' to "4, Royal Society" in their list. |
