Title | Copy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to Thomas Andrews, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 21 January 1897 |
Description | Rucker has consulted with Professor Michael Foster regarding his suggestion of 19 January. The lecture room is not available for lantern demonstrations on the night of an 'At Home' event. The object of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for demonstrations, and to use the lecture room would give additional work to the staff.
[Manuscript faded to illegibility] Rucker suggests it ought to be brought before the Soiree Committee with a view to the June Soiree. |
