| Description | Harrison is instructed to obtain Lankester's sanction for the publication of a paper by Mr E J Bles 'On the Opening in the Wall of the Body-cavity of vertebrates', communicated by Dr [Hans Friedrich] Gadow for the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. The paper has been accepted for consideration by Dr [Michael] Foster but Foster desires Lankester's concurrence before passing it for the 'Proceedings'. It is lengthy, exceeding by several pages the 12 pages prescribed by the Standing Orders. Can send the paper if Lankester would like to see it.
Encloses two referee's reports on Mr Warren's paper [not attached] and shall be glad of Lankester's opinion on how to proceed. The reports do not quite concur. |
