Description | Mr Wesley has been preparing a drawing of the Corona from the photographs obtained by Powell's expedition. In 1886 Wesley performed a similar service using the photographs of [Arthur] Schuster and [E Walter] Maunder, and he was then allowed to add a short account of how the drawings were made, 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' 180, 1889 page 347. Wesley now applies for leave to adopt a similar course and Rucker asks if Powell agrees. |
