Date | 18 March 1898 |
Description | The Physics and Chemistry Sectional Committee have reported to the Council, by a unanimous vote, that 'the Committee sees no reason to depart from its resolution of November 8, 1897, recommending the publication of Mr Erskine Murray's paper in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' on the understanding that the customary restriction to a length of twelve pages might in this case be waived'. This mean publishing the paper in full if Kelvin s desires.
The Council adopted the report of the Committee on this understanding and Harrison hopes that Kelvin will be willing to sonsent to the publication of Murray's paper in full in the 'Proceeding [of the Royal Society]'. |
