| Description | The Secretaries' letter relating to the publication of the Preliminary and Final Reports of the Eclipse Exhibition was laid before the President and Council, who willingly accept the suggestions made. Specifically, after striking off the copies of the number of the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' containing the Eclipse Reports, the printers should be directed to strike off 1000 extra copies for the use of the Fellows of the Astronomical Society. Also copies of the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' containing the final reports shall be distributed to all Fellows of the Royal Astronomical Society including also Observatories, Institutions and individuals to whom the Royal Astronomical Society's 'Memoirs' are presented, and who do not receive copies from the Royal Society. |
