The paragraph on page 75 should be amended or omitted in accordance with the appended opinion of the Sectional Committee. Also wishes to draw attention to a recent paper by Mortensen (Systemat. Studier ov Echinodermlarver, in vol. 2 of "Ergebnisse der Plankton Expedition der HumboldtStiftung") which deals with the morphology of the arm skeletons. May wish to refer to his observations as well as those of Gheel on the development of Echinocyamus (Nova Acta Reg. Sco. Sci., Upsala). Provides further suggested amendments. |
