| Description | Harrison is sorry that, through a misunderstanding on his part of a conversation with the Treasurer [of the Royal Society], he has not written to Bonney on the subject before.
There seems to have been some misunderstanding about a vote supposed to have been made by the Council to a Mr Chapman in aid of some work in connection with the Funafuti Expedition. If Bonney wishes the Funafuti matter to be brought before the Council let him know so that it can be added to the agenda paper. Please also explain to Professor Judd if he has not already heard from one of the senior officers. |
