| Description | Professor [Thomas George] Bonney's paper on 'The Parent-rock of the Diamond in South Africa', which was passed for publication in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' under the provisions of Standing Order 33, still remains on the list of papers requiring the formal approval of Council, since the action taken has not yet received the formal confirmation of the Sectional Committee for Geology. It is not thought worth while to Summon a meeting of the Committee for this purpose and Harrison is therefore authorized by the Chairman to circulate the accompanying draft minute which, if the recipients approve, he asks them to sign and return [not enclosed]. |
