Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Karl Pearson, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 20 March 1900 |
Description | Acknowledges Pearson's letter of the previous day. Professor [Arthur William] Rucker thinks it best to treat the two separate and revised sections of Pearson's paper on inheritance as two new papers, and in that character they have been set down for reading, but from what Pearson says, it would seem that the reading can be treated as quite formal. Therefore Pearson's later paper on evolution in man has now also been set down for reading on the 29 March, but before the older paper, so that if present, Pearson will be able to dismiss the latter in a few words.
A paper recently received from Vernon on a similar topic has been put down for reading on the same day.
Will send proof of Pearson's last paper and the abstract of Vernon's paper as soon as possible. |
