Description | Regarding his offer of portraits of Fellows of the Royal Society, Harrison informs him that it will not be possible to show them at a Ladies' Soiree as there will not be one this June. Harrison understands that he wishes to present some unmounted portraits of Fellows, and informs him that there already are a collection of such portraits, engravings, cuts, prints, etc. in the building. It is possible that some of Leighton's examples are wanting in one set, and in that case they shall be very glad to have them, but he may not care to downsize his collection to help the Royal Society's. |
