Description | Describes what appears to him and the author a very bad case of carelessness on the part of the Messrs regarding Professor Karl Pearson's 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' paper returned for press with this letter [not enclosed]. Asks for more care to be taken with the Society's work. Notes it will never do for authors to make justifiable complaints to which the Society have no answer except that their printers are not as careful as they ought to be. Asks for an early answer to this. |
