Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Mr William Napier Shaw, [Fellow of the Royal Society] |
Date | 9 December 1901 |
Description | Encloses a circular letter from the Indian Meteorological Reporter, relating to the annual volume of Indian Rainfall Data [not enclosed] and asks Shaw to look over it and give his opinion in the matter. Thinks proposed volume of monthly rainfalls would be quite sufficient for the Royal Society on the grounds that Meteorological Observations are not largely consulted at the Society, the available library space is becoming terribly limited and the present Indian Rainfall volume is excessively large and bulky. |
