| Description | MacWilliam's paper 'On the Properties of the Arterial and Venous Walls', has been under consideration by a Committee of the Society. Harrison is instructed by Sir M Foster to say that it has been decided by the Committee to recommend the publication of the paper in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' provided MacWilliam is prepared to condense that paper to about half its present dimensions, omitting of course, such illustrations as would have become unnecessary. If MacWilliam is prepared to carry out this recommendation Harrison will send the manuscript for amendment. |
