DescriptionLarmor has been directed to notify the Treasury Committee appointed to consider the Parliamentary Grant to the Meteorological Council that they have nominated Sir Michael Foster to give evidence on behalf of the Royal Society with respect tot he relations between the Royal Society and the Meteorological Council. He is unfortunately unwell, and may not be better by 3 February. Arthur William Rucker will take his place if Foster is not available. A precis of the evidence to be submitted will be forwarded before the close of the month.
